Grateful Hearts. Victorious Minds. A Moment to Remember.

🏆💙 “God first, then the grind.”

On Sunday 20th of July 2025, something special happened in Maungu.

It wasn’t just a church service.
It wasn’t just another win.
It was a moment—one that stitched together faith, effort, and a dream realized.

At St. Paul’s Catholic Church Maungu, our girls from St. Joseph Girls Secondary School Maungu gathered in a spirit of gratitude. We were not there to boast. We were not there to parade trophies. We were there to say thank you.

Thank you to the One who gives us breath.
Thank you to the teachers who pour their hearts into us.
Thank you to the classmates who pull us up when we fall.
Thank you to the late nights, the missed breaks, the extra hours in the study room.
Because all of that—every moment of discipline—led us here.

We didn’t win by luck.
We didn’t win because it was easy.
We won because we kept showing up when it was hard.
We won because we carried our rosaries in one hand and our calculators in the other.
We won because we believed we could, and then put in the work to prove it.

When we heard our school’s name announced as the top in the Maths Contest, our hearts leapt—not just for the victory, but for what it meant:
That girls from Maungu can rise.
That discipline, faith, and consistency still matter.
That when girls are given the chance to excel in maths, they do.

The Thanksgiving Mass was a moment to reflect.
A reminder that we are not walking alone.
A quiet celebration that said: “Yes, we’re headed in the right direction.”

To our teachers—thank you for never lowering the bar.
To our parents—thank you for the quiet sacrifices.
To our school community—this win belongs to you too.

To our fellow students across the country: Math is not a monster. It’s a muscle. You train it. You strengthen it. And if we can do it, so can you.

This is more than a victory.
It’s a movement.
Of girls who believe.
Of girls who rise.
Of girls who will walk into the KCSE exam room knowing they were built for greatness.

🙏🏽 May this be the first of many victories.
📚 May we never forget where our strength comes from.
🔥 And may we always walk forward—grateful, focused, and unshakably bold.
To the Almighty God be the Glory!
